Hi, I'm Job Sijgers, a game developer currently studying at the Graphic Lyceum in Utrecht. Since childhood, I'm passionate about games and technology. I first got into the world of programming with Lego Mindstorms. I participated in the Benelux Finals of the First Lego League in elementary school, designing and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots I've been hooked on programming ever since.
2 years ago I started working with Unity. Since then, I worked on a variety of projects, ranging from small prototypes to full games, both in 2D and 3D. Currently, I'm learning how to use Unreal Engine and C++.
Right now I am working on a VR learning experience for VMBO students. The project is a collaboration with the University of Amsterdam and the Anne Frank Foundation. The goal is to create a VR experience that teaches the students history in a more engaging way. On this project I am working as lead developer at the Hybrid Learning Environment, this is a place for students to learn and work in a real work environment.
When not creating games I enjoy a variety of hobbies including going to the gym, gaming and hiking.
Other interests include space travel and sustainability.
